We live in the information age, where within a few taps of our fingers, or by the sound of our voice, information comes flooding to us. It is so much easier to obtain information now compared to, say 1991 where a seven year old boy from Malaysia, can only access the limited amount of books that are available in his housing area’s public library (which was later reduced in area space thanks to the rapid development of the nation).
Unlike 1991 where there were limited information available to anyone without access to a grand library, now in 2012 a Google search will fetch you millions of search results on any particular subject. Instead of being underwhelmed by the lack of information, we are now overwhelmed by too much of it; especially so when it comes to the subjects of self-help and personal development.
